And turn their back on your friendship-
How dare you be angry, irritable, breathe fire, be less than perfect.
They build a wall between you
And adjust their mask.
That’s when you know
That they just did you the biggest favor of your life.
Walk away, beautiful.
Keep breathing your fire.
Don’t let them box you into their idea of friendship
If they are truly your friend,
They will applaud your truth
And will challenge you with theirs.
